A Day in the Life

As an IT Business Systems Analyst supporting the Patient & Technical Services (PTS) team you will lead the design development and management of educational content and technical workflows for Medtronics digital patient resources and portals and internal education that support consultants and call center specialists. This role is critical in ensuring content accuracy accessibility and alignment with Medtronics brand standards while enhancing the digital experience for patients caregivers clinicians and the field.

A Day in the Life

• Manage and publish educational content across knowledge databases and patient-facing portals

• Review edit and approve articles and content blocks for accuracy and consistency

• Design and maintain portal interfaces and educational resources to optimize user experience

• Administer keyword optimization metadata tagging and HTML formatting for content discoverability

• Create templates and guided workflows to standardize content delivery

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align portal content with strategic goals

• Serve as a citizen developer for ServiceNow and other portal platforms

• Lead initiatives to expand content access and improve digital engagement

• Troubleshoot and implement fixes for portal tools and content systems

• Participate in communities of practice and knowledge manager meetings

• Consults with business stakeholders to understand and evaluate current business processes and identify complex business problems and needs turning those needs into system requirements.

• Provides technical expertise for system functional specifications and deploys new and current systems processes and procedures in a cost effective manner.

• May configure system settings and options; plan and execute unit system and integration testing to meet business requirements.

• May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. Required Knowledge and Experience:Requires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 0 years of experience.
