The Omni Charlottesville Hotel offers 208 beautifully appointed guestrooms and suites featuring panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains along with a full service restaurant and 12000 square feet of meeting space. The Omni is located in the heart of downtown at the base of the downtown pedestrian mall. Our location offers a wide variety of local restaurants pubs entertainment venues or even just to take a scenic walk and enjoy the culture of Charlottesville. There are numerous local historic sites that have played a unique role in American history which include: Monticello the University of Virginia Ash Lawn-Highland Historic Court Square and Michie Tavern. Our Blue Ridge Parkway offers unmatched views and our very own downtown mall features daily entertainment at the four theaters which offer live music movies and theatrical performances.
Although we have a beautiful property and location our associates are what separate us from the rest of the hotels. Job Description
An amazing opportunity to be a pivotal part of the Omni convention collection hotel. The Omni Oklahoma City Hotel is a true outdoor recreation entertainment and culinary destination paying homage to the heritage and modern progress of the city. With 605 guest rooms and suites the luxury hotel will showcase views of the 70-acre Scissortail Park and the downtown skyline with 75000 square feet of meeting and event space sports bar specialty restaurant coffee shop and a retail venue.
The Omni Oklahoma City Hotel is seeking an outgoing Full Time Bellperson to join the team of this upscale hotel. This team member will provide assistance and services to guests in order to ensure that their arrival and departure experience is pleasurable and informative.
Responsibilities
- To assist in the transport and storage of guest luggage.
- To assist with guest packages.
- transport to guest room
- transport to guest meeting area; Omni meeting rooms.
- To properly log all trips originating from the Bell Stand.
- Responsible for a clean and professionappearance of uniform.
- Knowledgeable about all hotel amenities and surrounding area.
- To be conversant with all hotel promotional programs (guest related).
Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service skills: smile welcoming attitude ability to engage and make a great first impression on our guests
- Excellent grooming and body language to represent the brand
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and work on feet entire shift
- Must be flexible to work all shifts including on holidays and weekends
- Must live within 50 miles of the hotel.
