This role blends deep technical expertise with operational insight. Youll work closely with logistics teams to ensure our systems are reliable scalable and aligned with business needs.
What youll do
- Design implement and manage SQL Server environments (2008) including replication mirroring and disaster recovery.
- Lead database migrations to Azure/AWS with minimal downtime.
- Automate infrastructure using Ansible and Terraform.
- Monitor performance with Prometheus and Grafana and proactively resolve issues.
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS Azure Data Factory Kafka or Airflow.
- Develop stored procedures functions and database objects with advanced SQL.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams to integrate database management into CI/CD pipelines.
- Support reporting tools like Power BI Crystal Reports and EDI systems.
- Document processes create runbooks and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
- Participate in on-call rotation for mission-critical systems.
What were looking for
- 5 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA in enterprise environments.
- Strong SQL skills: complex queries stored procedures performance tuning.
- Experience in logistics or warehouse operations is highly valued.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure AWS) and database migrations.
- Familiarity with reporting tools and EDI systems.
- Solid understanding of system debugging and configuration.
- Fluent English (spoken and written) youll collaborate with teams in India and China.
- Proactive mindset stakeholder management skills and ability to think outside the box.
- Exposure to WMS deployments and agile project environments is a plus.
