Are you an experienced caregiver that enjoys helping individuals in multiple communities Do you enjoy working in a new environment each shift or helping out where you are needed the most If that is true for you then becoming a floating caregiver sounds like the perfect opportunity! As a floating caregiver you will be able to work in all of our group homes across Prairie du Chien Wi. and provide support to all of our individuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing grooming and dressing
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with supported individuals
• Assist with medication management and administration as needed
• Support individuals with meal planning preparation and feeding
• Escort supported individuals to appointments and accompany them on outings
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks and laundry

• Experience working with individuals of varying needs and diagnoses (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathy and compassion for individuals with disabilities or health challenges
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
• Day shift or Overnight schedules

Pay

• Starting at $15.00/hour on weekdays
• Starting at $22.50/hour on Weekends! (Time and a half of weekday hourly rate.)
• Average starting pay rate of $16.88/hr (48 hours)-$17.50/hr(36 hours)
• Daily pay available!

Physical Demands

• Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques
• Perform tasks that involve bending stooping kneeling and crouching for accessing spaces and performing ground-level activities
• Walk stand and engage in continuous physical activities during cleaning maintenance and outdoor tasks
