This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance work across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main Mechanical Electrical Heating Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (MEH) cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power stations vast network of rooms.

The role

As a Non-Destructive Testing Coordinator youll have a role thats out of the ordinary. Being part of the MEH Alliance working on Hinkley Point C is a chance to be involved in a major project with national significance. Youll be at the heart of one of the UKs most significant nuclear projects. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the integrity and safety of a major infrastructure programme while developing your expertise across multiple engineering disciplines.

Day-to-day youll

• Coordinate non-destructive testing (NDT) activities with contractors and ensure compliance with approved procedures.
• Review NDT reports and radiographs to verify adherence to standards and specifications.
• Verify technician certifications equipment calibration and environmental conditions for testing.
• Witness NDT procedures and prepare daily surveillance reports.
• Maintain accurate records of NDT activities using SONIMS.

This is a full-time permanent position 37 hours per week based on site at Hinkley Point C near Bridgwater Somerset.

Essential experience of the Non-Destructive Testing Coordinator:

• Proven experience of NDT ideally including Phased Array Qualification.
• Experience working on major engineering projects.
• Nuclear industry experience is beneficial.

Qualifications for the Non-Destructive Testing Coordinator:

• PCN Level III in Radiographic Testing and Phased Array.
• Level II in Ultrasonic Testing Penetrant Testing and Magnetic Particle Testing.
• CSWIP or PCN film interpretation across all metal types.

Security Clearance
