About the Role
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to lead infrastructure and deployment initiatives. This is a hands-on senior technical position where youll shape the strategy for automation scalability and security. Youll design and optimize cloud architectures CI/CD pipelines and monitoring solutions ensuring that engineering teams deliver secure reliable and resilient applications.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture
Design build and maintain secure scalable infrastructure in Azure and GCP.
Lead migrations hybrid solutions and cost optimization initiatives.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Bicep Pulumi).
CI/CD & Automation
Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps GitHub Actions Cloud Build).
Automate provisioning scaling and configuration management.
Reduce manual work with scripting (Bash PowerShell Python).
Observability & Reliability
Implement centralized monitoring and alerting (Azure Monitor Stackdriver Prometheus Grafana).
Define and monitor SLOs SLIs and SLAs for reliability.
Lead incident response and postmortems.
Security & Compliance
Apply cloud security best practices (IAM secrets network security vulnerability scanning).
Partner with compliance teams on SOC2 requirements.
Integrate shift-left security into infrastructure and pipelines.
Collaboration & Leadership
Partner with development QA and product teams.
Mentor junior DevOps engineers and foster knowledge-sharing.
Evaluate emerging tools and practices for continuous improvement.
What You Need to Succeed
5 years in DevOps Site Reliability or Infrastructure Engineering.
Expert knowledge of Azure (App Services AKS Functions Azure DevOps).
Strong experience with GCP (GKE Cloud Run IAM networking).
Proficiency in IaC (Terraform Bicep Pulumi).
Solid containerization/orchestration skills (Docker Kubernetes).
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus Grafana Datadog).
CI/CD expertise (GitHub Actions Jenkins Azure Pipelines).
Excellent scripting (Bash PowerShell Python).
Strong understanding of networking DNS load balancers and cloud security.
