Leidos Defense Systems Manufacturing is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Hypersonics Integration team in Huntsville Alabama.

Primary Responsibilities
Capable of reading and interpreting mechanical/integration drawings.
Understand the working nature of MRP/ERP systems.
Create a bill of materials based on drawings and specs.
Create and maintain standardized work instructions based on drawing and specification reviews.
Provide floor support for integration test and assembly efforts.
Work closely with the design quality and manufacturing teams.
Basic Qualifications
A Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering Industrial Engineering or Industrial and Systems Engineering Electrical Engineering Chemical Engineering etc or equivalent Engineering Technology degree with 8-12 years of applicable engineering experience or a Masters Degree with 6-10 years prior relevant experience in an engineering field is required.
Must be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products including Excel Word PowerPoint and Visio.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama AL area.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility requirements to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Military and Aerospace assembly techniques.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $89700.00 - $162150.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
