School Nurse Full Time
Henry Warren Elementary School
Description:
The Ashland Public Schools is seeking to hire a School Nurse at the Ashland Henry Warren Elementary School. This is a full time position reporting to the Head Nurse and School Principal.
Responsibilities:
The school nurse is responsible for developing implementing and managing school health services for a school population as defined by the school district. The primary role of the school nurse is to support student learning. The nurse accomplishes this by implementing strategies that promote student and staff health and safety. The nurse collaborates with colleagues administrators counselors teachers and other support staff to support the health safety and overall well-being of students.
Requirements:
Current Massachusetts RN license Bachelors Degree in Nursing MA Department of Elementary and Secondary School Nurse license and CPR/AED Certification. School nursing experience preferred.
