We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Solutions team at PT Marsh. This role will be based in Jakarta. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
- Work with clients to understand and quantify the loss incurred
- Prepare the claims file for large loss submission to ensure all loss considerations are included
- Work with the client insurers and loss adjusters to reach an agreeable settlement
What you need to have:
- Bachelors degree or diploma qualification in accounting
- Accounting qualifications (or working towards a qualification) would be a plus
- Minimally 4-5 years of working experience in accounting audit or professional services. Prior experience in claims accounting or loss adjusting background would be preferred
- An enquiring mind with natural numeracy skills as the role is that of a forensic accountant where analysis of financial data will be core to the role
- Willingness to learn meticulous and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
What makes you stand out:
- Prior experience working with clients and Insurers on major complex disputed or catastrophic losses
- Prior experience in property liability and/or business interruption claims will be highly beneficial
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
