Supervise and coordinate daily operations of all process units in the sewage treatment plant (inlet works aeration clarification disinfection sludge handling etc.). Lead a team of operators and shift staff ensuring adherence to SOPs and operational standards. Monitor plant performance through SCADA systems field inspections and lab reports. Adjust plant operations as needed to maintain compliance with environmental regulations and effluent quality standards. Investigate operational issues or process deviations and take corrective actions promptly. Prepare and maintain accurate operational records shift reports and performance data. Ensure all equipment and systems are operating safely and efficiently. Coordinate with maintenance instrumentation and laboratory teams for inspections shutdowns and troubleshooting. Train and mentor operations staff to ensure skill development and competency. Enforce health safety and environmental (HSE) standards and promote a strong safety culture among team members. Support in plant audits inspections and regulatory reporting as required. Education: Diploma or Degree in Environmental Engineering Mechanical Chemical or related field. Experience: Minimum 58 years of experience in sewage or wastewater treatment plant operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of sewage treatment processes (biological chemical mechanical). Familiarity with SCADA/PLC systems and control room operations. Understanding of process optimization and troubleshooting techniques.
