Job Summary
Are you an experienced Audit & Accounts Semi Senior seeking your next challenge with an established Top 50 chartered accountancy practice Or an aspirational Audit Trainee looking for your next step up
Youll be ACCA or ACA studying with demonstrable audit experience and be passionate about using your skills to help clients. Youll need excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients - always aiming to deliver excellent customer service. Youll need to be technically strong with close attention to detail and have a can-do attitude to problem-solving; youll also be a self-starter who is motivated to see projects through to completion promptly.
As an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior in Dartford you will be responsible for:
- Reporting to the Audit and Accounts Seniors and Managers the role will focus mainly on audit and accounts activities. (70% audit 30% accounts)
- Support a varied portfolio of clients from owner-managed to not-for-profit organisations.
- Assist with audits from planning through to completion liaising with the team and client where necessary.
- Provide accountancy and taxation advice and support to clients as necessary.
- Support with and conduct pre-audit and post-audit meetings with clients.
- Assist in the management of a team of trainee accountants.
- Mentor colleagues -- reviewing their work and encouraging prompt and high-quality delivery and service.
- Develop and expand the teams skillset through development plans and training and support.
- Contribute to the firms growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients.
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA studying or qualified by experience.
- Demonstrable experience within an accountancy firm within a semi senior or senior audit and accounts role.
- Technically proficient in audit and accounts with excellent attention to detail.
- A can-do attitude to problem-solving.
- Able to manage own workload effectively.
- Excellent communication and advisory skills.

You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
