We are hiring a Radiographer in our Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Perform all radiographic imaging examinations as required in the Diagnostic Imaging Department with a focus on General Radiography DEXA Theatre and Interventional/Fluoroscopy Radiology as well as General Ultrasound skills and opportunities in Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory CT MRI and PACS/RIS.
- When appropriate do high-quality best-practice clinical imaging and be professionally responsible for all elements of your own job while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
- Maintain an efficient and high-quality radiography service for the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
- Demonstrate flexibility in accordance with the Departments diverse shift patterns and service needs and participate in the radiography rotation.
- Participate in on-call rotations as needed.
- Perform intravenous cannulation as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments GPs Consultants Secretaries and coworkers to ensure efficient patient management.
Requirements
- Requirements for radiography include a BSc (Hons) or Diploma from the College of Radiographers CORU registration and post-graduate qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of postgraduate experience is desirable.
- Proficiency in diagnostic MRI and/or general ultrasound is preferred.
- It is preferred to have a postgraduate degree in MRI and/or general ultrasound.
