Job Summary

Job Purpose:

The Events Manager will be responsible for planning coordinating and executing VIP and exclusive functions to the highest standard. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in events management strong administrative abilities and exceptional guest relations skills with a focus on upselling to maximize revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Coordination:

  • Plan organize and execute a variety of events including VIP and exclusive functions.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and ensure events exceed expectations.
  • Develop detailed event proposals budgets and timelines.
  • Coordinate with vendors suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery.

Guest Relations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and guests during events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with VIP clients and stakeholders.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Ensure a luxurious and personalized experience for all attendees.

Revenue Generation:

  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional services packages and upgrades to clients.
  • Develop strategies to maximize event profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Monitor event budgets and control costs effectively.

Administrative Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of events including contracts invoices and client feedback.
  • Prepare post-event reports and analyze event performance metrics.
  • Ensure all event documentation complies with company policies and procedures.

Operational Oversight:

  • Supervise and manage event setup execution and breakdown.
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure venue readiness and smooth event flow.
  • Address and resolve any on-site issues promptly during events.

Key Requirements:

Experience & Skills:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in event management preferably within a luxury or hospitality environment.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Exceptional guest relations and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to upsell and maximize revenue.

  • Professional polished and confident demeanor.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Own transport is essential for commuting and off-site functions.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays as required by event schedules.
