As the Group Accountant you will play a pivotal role in managing financial processes ensuring accurate reporting and supporting decision-making within the organisation. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical accounting skills and a proactive mindset.

As the Group Accountant you will play a pivotal role in managing financial processes ensuring accurate reporting and supporting decision-making within the organisation. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical accounting skills and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain cash flow and banking processes
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage fixed asset registers
- Prepare and support audit packs
- Compile and maintain the trial balance and balance sheet
- Ensure the accurate submission of VAT and tax returns
- Produce monthly management reports
- Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom in Finance
- Completed articles or CIMA qualification (advantageous)
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting role
- Advanced Excel skills (including VLOOKUP HLOOKUP and Pivot Tables)
- Strong grasp of financial principles and accounting processes
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in logistics or distribution industries is an advantage
