This position serves as the coordinator of various HR functions including Education and Development activities events and communication. This position works closely with the Education & Development Specialists Benefits Specialist and others within Human Resources. This position is expected to maintain and promote excellent customer service internally to the HR team and to Gillette employees of all levels.
This is a hybrid opportunity. The selected candidate will be expected to be onsite at our St Paul campus at least once per week. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Compensation & Benefits
The hourly wage for this opportunity is $22.22/hour to $33.34/hour with a median wage of $27.78/ is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience education certification & licensure and internal equity. Hourly pay is just one part of the compensation package for employees. Primary Job Responsibilities
- Coordinates education and training programs
- Performs administrative duties associated with training this includes tracking and management on the Learning Management System.
- Works with clinical and nonclinical educators to ensure simulation and education sessions run efficiently.
- Works with third party vendors to ensure efficient and accurate resource management.
- Completes quality improvement projects as assigned.
- Responsible for logistics hosting and facilitation of some sessions for New Employee Orientation.
- Assists with creation of job aids employee communication (such as newsletters) and other educational resources as needed.
- Coordinates office activities and provides support to maintain smooth operation and maximize departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
- Serves as first point of contact for Education and Development. Answers questions from management and staff regarding classroom online training Simulation Lab events or directs employees to appropriate source.
- Assists with logistical needs for training sessions when required such as; classroom and Sim lab reservations off-site venues reservations catering participant notification cancellations and reschedules
- Manages the Training email box.
- Sends out contact hours/continuing education certificates
- Coordinates student program requests while providing exceptional customer service.
- Assists with the placement process of summer interns including but not limited to college STEP-UP and Right Track student interns.
- Manages the relationship with Sim Lab visiting schools and outside organizations that request staff visits or tours.
- Develops relationships with high school teachers and students interested in healthcare.
- Triage requests from other organizations requesting speakers.
- Supports onboarding activities
- Supports HR functions.
- Assists with responding to email inquiries

- Provides administrative support as requested
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 1 years experience in an administrative human resource education and development or similar role.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Excellent customer service organizational and communication skills
- Experience operating copy machines fax machines and multi-line telephone systems
- Basic skills in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint
- Email and scheduling experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and prioritize workload independently
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Willingness to learn new skills
Preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Previous office administrative experience
- Event coordination experience
- Experience in a learning and development area
