Job Description
The Assistant Manager for Perry Place plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of food service and dining facilities. This position is responsible for various aspects of food service supervision including staff training customer service food production and presentation cash handling safety and sanitation. The Assistant Manager for Perry Place will collaborate with the Operations Manager and senior management to maintain high-quality service and adhere to state and Virginia Tech policies.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in food service or dining supervision.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and certification.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to handle employee relations training and performance evaluations.
Basic knowledge of cash handling procedures.
Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality safety and sanitation.
Customer-focused attitude and dedication to guest satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Food Service Management related field or significant management experience of similar position.

Additional Information
Days may vary but the position will be a PM shift usually 1:30 pm-10:00 pm or similar.
The successful candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction check as well as a driving check with a safe driving record.
