Personal Lines Account Manager (PLAM)
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager (PLAM) to join a dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work with one of the nations largest and most respected insurance agencies providing comprehensive personal insurance solutions to the valued clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal lines insurance exceptional customer service skills and the ability to manage accounts from start to finish. This position is hybrid with 1-2 days in the office.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $65000 - $75000 (flexible based on experience)
- 401(k): 66% company match on the first 6% after a 3-month probationary period with immediate vesting upon deposit
Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business with $375K in revenue focusing on standard personal lines accounts (up to $10K in size).
- Handle all aspects of account management including quoting renewals and servicing.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients ensuring their insurance needs are met efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members and leaders to achieve departmental goals.
- Utilize AMS360 software (transitioning to Applied EPIC in February) to manage accounts and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with Massachusetts RMV regulations and other applicable guidelines.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licensure: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of personal lines insurance experience; candidates with captive insurance experience will not be considered.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS360 software (experience with Applied EPIC is a plus).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Massachusetts RMV processes and regulations.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in insurance is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills with a client-focused mindset.
