The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate Financial Analyst (Financial Controls) to support the Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) Attack programs in Mesa AZ.

As Associate Financial Analyst you will partner directly with the program to manage cost and schedule baselines prepare and refine Estimates at Completion (EACs) conduct monthly forecasting and variance analysis and identify associated risks and opportunities

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis of resource forecasts and control-account EACs ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards

  • Reconcile data from multiple sources to support resource forecasts and EACs for control accounts budgets and financial contracts

  • Conduct monthly forecasting and variance analysis to track performance and identify trends

  • Extract data and compile routine performance reports; assist in preparing variance analyses to highlight discrepancies

  • Develop and maintain cost and schedule performance measurement baselines including earned value management and variance analyses

  • Provide site support for bulk metrics reporting and variance analysis ensuring alignment with overall program objectives

  • Assist in preparing documentation and reports to support DCMA audits

  • Collaborate with senior analysts in developing major and minor EAC presentations

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial data and reporting

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher in accounting finance business or a related field

  • 1 years of experience in a related finance role such as financial operations cost management accounting estimating or financial planning

  • 1 years of experience with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with EVM and applying DFARS requirements

  • Experience using integrated master tools (e.g. CSPR: Cost Schedule and Reporting)

  • Proactive and flexible detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work well on a multi-function team

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Motivated self-starter and self-directed learner with a creative mindset and high attention to detail to help explain program financials to CFOs
