Job Summary
Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP/PA)
Location: St. Joseph MO 64507
Duration: 8 weeks (contract)
Position Summary
A Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP/PA) is needed to provide primary care services in a family medicine setting. The role involves delivering comprehensive healthcare for patients ages 2 and older including wellness visits chronic disease management and urgent care needs. The ideal candidate will have recent family medicine experience and the ability to practice independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide independent family practice care across a wide patient population (ages 2)
Conduct routine wellness and preventive care visits
Manage chronic conditions through ongoing monitoring and treatment adjustments
Provide urgent care services as needed within the scope of family medicine
Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure continuity of care and positive patient outcomes
Maintain accurate timely documentation of patient encounters and care plans
Required Skills and Experience
Active NP or PA license in the state of Missouri (or compact license if applicable)
Must be able to see patients ages 2 and older
Recent experience in family medicine required
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Preferred Qualifications
Prior independent practice experience in family medicine including wellness chronic care management and urgent care
