Dental Assistant

Salary and Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $18.50$27.85 per hour
- Loan Repayment: Eligible on a case-by-case basis
- Relocation Assistance: Considered individually

Responsibilities
- Assist dentists with clinical procedures and patient care
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take and process dental radiographs
- Schedule: Monday through Friday 8-hour shifts
- Support patient comfort and chairside manner during appointments
- Maintain accurate documentation in Athena One EMR
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Ensure compliance with OSHA HIPAA and infection control standards
- Work collaboratively with a team of dental assistants hygienists and providers
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
- Active Vermont Dental Assistant license (or ability to obtain)
- CPR Certification
- Preference given to candidates with Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a rural clinical setting
- New graduates will be considered
