Midland University a small private four-year institution in Fremont Nebraska (just outside of metro Omaha) is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach in-person psychology courses on campus. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures designing engaging classroom activities providing timely feedback on assignments and responding to student inquiries within 24-hours meeting with them individually as needed. Courses are offered in 16-week terms. Terms begin in August and January.
Required Qualifications:
A masters degree in psychology or a closely related discipline with 18 graduate hours in psychology
Experience teaching at the college level or teaching/training adults is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD or ABD (all but dissertation) status
Experience teaching in a synchronous and/or asynchronous online format
Familiarity with the Canvas LMS
