Job Description

Anitox partners with the worlds leading feed ingredient poultry swine and farmed fish producers enabling them to make safer food more efficiently through the development of clean feed technologies. Today our class leading portfolio is set to grow following acquisition by Iluma Alliance in 2024. Were focused on innovative chemical and biological solutions to improve livestock performance control Salmonella Clostridia and a host of viruses which impact animal welfare productivity and human food security and drive milling efficiency.

As experts in clean feed technology in our core market we continuously strive to deliver the highest level of technical support to both our internal and external customers. We are currently seeking a Technical Director (EMEA) to support our global technical team to drive this agenda.

Position Overview:

To enhance the value proposition by providing excellence in technical expertise and education. To assist the key growth markets to achieve budgeted sales volume margin & contribution through the delivery of technical services to Anitox customers and mentoring of the EMEA Sales team in technical matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop/maintain key customer relationships (veterinarian/nutritionists) andlead strategic initiatives with key industry influencers/organizations key opinion leaders research institutions and national and regional industry associations
  • Provide technical support to sales in virtual and face to face customer meetings
  • Deliver technical presentations at targeted industry/key prospect/customer meetings
  • Develop technical information (bulletins papers etc.) to advance our value proposition within the industry
  • Maintain and produce technical pieces for product support
  • Identify and develop/lead plans to fill value gaps via new 3rd party research complimentary products internal research and/or technical papers
  • Actively participate in industry/professional associations
  • Coordinate with Marketing on Campaign/Document messaging
  • Fully utilize Salesforce CRM tool to update Technical dashboard and document customer/prospect/key influencer interactions
  • Determine and facilitate/deliver necessary training across the sales team
  • Writing of technical reports
  • Writing of protocols for field trials
  • Analysis & organization of data from trials

EssentialQualifications/Experience:

  • PhD in poultry science/animal production or DVM.
  • 5 years of experience in the poultry/swine industry along with practical knowledge of the European (poultry) feed industry its structure and the key influencers.
  • Demonstrated success in a technical service role introducing new products and concepts to targeted customer and/or markets in conjunction with sales and marketing.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers and to work in cross-functional teams to achieve customer and product objectives.
  • Strong technical/scientific background capable of writing executing analyzing and presenting protocol results for research or sales support purposes.
  • Well organized and an effective planner in use of resources while demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness as market needs dictate.
  • Excellent people and communication skills.
  • Excellent written verbal and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English (writing and speaking).
  • Strong analytical skills in applied research.
  • Computer literate especially in MS Teams Word PowerPoint and Excel applications among others.
  • A self-starter with significant drive.

Desired:

  • Publication of Technical Papers in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Knowledge & understanding of how a modern feed mill operates.
  • Additional language skills.

Hours of Work:

Working hours are standard Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and will be modified to meet the expectations of sales goals (customer hours after-hours work as required).

Travel:

This position requires national and international travel up to 50% with frequent nights away from home.
