Job Description:
- Loop Test Technicians needed for project at Årskog/Børdalen.
- Job Summary:
- The Loop Test Technician is responsible for performing loop checks and functional testing of instrumentation and control systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
- This role supports commissioning activities and works closely with construction/MC and operations teams.
- Perform loop checks from field instruments to control systems.
- Verify wiring signal continuity and proper calibration of instruments.
- Document test results and report any discrepancies or faults.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving instrumentation issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate with commissioning and QA/QC teams during system startup.
- 13/15 rotation
- Technical diploma or certificate in Instrumentation Electrical or related field.
- Experience in loop testing and instrumentation commissioning.
- Familiarity with control systems (PLC/DCS) field devices and test equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs loop diagrams and wiring schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
