Job Summary
The free short application for the Envision Education Teacher Residency at Alder GSE is now open (September 1 2025)! Our priority application deadlines are October 10 2025 and our first general deadline is November 3 2025.
This Fall Envision is recruiting a cohort of teacher residents for the Envision Education Teacher Residency. This is an innovative and affordable pathway to a full-time teaching career in our community. Residents earn their Masters Degree and Teaching Credential in just one year through the Alder Graduate School of Education while joining a supportive mentor-based program with an emphasis on social justice and equity. After the year of residency graduates receive priority hiring as Envision Education teachers.
TUITION
$23290 tuition (final tuition set in Dec. 2025 for the Class of 2027)
BENEFITS
$47500 stipend (Residents are not employees of the school)
State and federal grants up to $15000
Alder Tuition Scholarships ranging from $3000 - $10000
Up to $47500 in federal financial loans and the opportunity to apply for scholarships
Masters Degree and Credential
Priority hiring for a full-time position at the school of residency

-Bachelors degree completed by the end of July 2026
-A grade point average (GPA) of 2.65 preferred under 2.65 GPA should still apply
-Eligible to work in the United States: U.S. citizen DACA permanent residency
