Business Analyst

• Provides expertise on continuous process improvement strategies organizational redesign change management projects and performance measures for basic business process engagements.
• Defines and develops business processes policies roles and responsibilities and performance metrics.
• Conducts analysis of business processes including:
  • Current state analysis
  • Gap analysis
  • Benchmarking
  • Best practices identification
  • Organizational assessment
  • Other related tasks
• Plans and implements process improvements including:
  • Future state design
  • Change management
  • Transition planning
• Interfaces with all project areas including:
  • Customer
  • Computer services
  • Client services
• Provides oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs systems processes and procedures to ensure compliance and performance quality.
• Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies regulatory and/or governmental regulations and agency guidelines to assure compliance.
• Works with operating entities to provide continuous process analyses oversight to enforce requirements and meet guidelines.
• May coordinate with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements.
• Conducts client interviews.
• May deliver presentations and training courses on measurement analysis improvement and control.
• May perform cost and benefit analysis.
  • Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles theories and concepts in the field.
  • General knowledge of other related disciplines.
  • Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives.
  • Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance.
  • Work is reviewed by management to measure whether objectives have been met.
  • Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Solutions are imaginative thorough practicable and consistent with organization objectives.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.
• Degree in Business Administration Information Technology Finance or a related field.
• Advanced certifications are preferred such as:
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Six Sigma Certification
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Experience

• • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business analysis or a related role.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects.
  • Experience working in various industries or sectors is beneficial.

Requirements

• Expertise in eliciting and documenting business requirements business processes and workflows.
• Proficiency in creating functional specifications user stories use cases and process flow diagrams.
• Experience with business modeling techniques and tools (e.g. UML BPMN).
• Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Microsoft Visio Lucidchart or similar.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall).
• Proficient in using project management and tracking tools (e.g. JIRA Trello Microsoft Project).
• Understanding of database concepts and basic querying skills.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis interpretation and presenting findings.
• Proficiency in using data analysis tools (e.g. Excel SQL Power BI Tableau).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical information into business language for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong presentation skills and experience facilitating workshops and meetings.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to identify problems propose solutions and make decisions based on sound judgment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior analysts and team members.
• Experience in managing and coordinating cross-functional project teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities projects and tasks effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations standards and best practices.
• Ability to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
• Strong documentation skills for maintaining project documentation business requirements and process flows.
