Job Summary
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled LED Specialist with strong electrical and LED installation experience to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with channel letters metal fabrication welding and custom sign building. This role requires technical expertise attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality durable work within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble channel letters and custom signage.
- Install and wire LED lighting systems power supplies and other electrical components.
- Read and interpret blueprints shop drawings and specifications.
- Cut bend and shape materials such as aluminum steel and acrylic using shop equipment.
- Perform MIG/TIG welding and grinding to complete metal structures.
- Safely operate fabrication tools including shears brakes saws drills and routers.
- Ensure all fabricated products meet quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with design and installation teams to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in fabrication welding or sign making (channel letter experience preferred).
- Proven experience with LED systems wiring and electrical troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with hand tools power tools and metalworking equipment.
- Ability to read technical drawings and fabricate accurately to specifications.
- Strong knowledge of MIG/TIG welding techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
- OSHA electrical or welding certifications a plus.
