The Lubar College of Business Mentoring and Engagement Coordinator plans and organizes the Lubar College of Business Mentorship Program (LCBMP) and Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) to promote student learning and development. The coordinator drives student engagement within the college to foster student success career readiness and overall satisfaction with the business student experience at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukees Lubar College of Business. Additionally the incumbent will serve as a liaison and provide support for business-related student organizations and clubs.
Job Duties: Create and administer initiatives to support first-generation college students including coordination of LCBMP and ELP. Drive student engagement by supporting business student organizations generate active participation within the colleges student organizations and clubs and coordinate the Lubar Black & Gold Committee to enhance the business student experience and serve as a liaison between student representatives and the Lubar Colleges faculty staff and administration. Other responsibilities will include assisting with other Lubar student retention and engagement activities such as the Lubar Academic Welcomes New Student Orientation Lubar Majors Certificates and Student Organizations Fair Lubar Cares Day Dinner with the Dean Lubar 25 Recognition program and other student appreciation and engagement events.
