You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Industrial Sewing Machine Operator will act as a skilled and dependable contributor within the Air Rescue Systems production team. The Operator is responsible for assembling high-quality sewn products using industrial sewing machines including bar tackers and automated pattern makers. This role will also prepare and cut materials perform various stitching techniques and ensure products meet stringent quality standards. Operators are expected to follow documented procedures maintain equipment and support production goals by working efficiently safely and collaboratively.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
Operate industrial sewing machines and related equipment to assemble components according to design specifications and instructions
Prepare materials by cutting measuring and aligning fabric thread and related items for production
Perform a range of sewing techniques such as straight and zigzag stitching to produce finished goods
Inspect work during and after sewing to ensure products meet documented quality standards; identify and correct defects
Conduct routine machine maintenance including cleaning oiling and making minor adjustments; escalate major equipment issues as needed
Collaborate with supervisors team members and other departments to maintain workflow and resolve production issues
Maintain a clean safe and organized work area by properly storing materials tools and finished goods
Achieve daily production quotas and deadlines while upholding craftsmanship and quality expectations
Recommend process improvements to enhance production efficiency and quality
Regular scheduled attendance Monday Friday
Other duties as assigned
Subject to applicable laws and Vita Inclinatas policies regular attendance is an essential function of the position. All employees must follow Vita Inclinatas employment practices and policies.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED plus 3 to 5 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency with sewing machines required
Ability to read and follow instructions measure and cut materials accurately
Experience working in a regulated environment such as ISO 9001 preferred
Skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to perform documented procedural tasks and escalate complex issues appropriately
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Team-oriented with a professional attitude
Dependable and self-motivated
Compensation
In compliance with Colorados Equal Pay for Equal Work Act the compensation for this role is $20.00 - $30.00 per hour however Vita Inclinata Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience education/training and key skills.
