Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled IT Service Manager to join our team.

As the IT Service Manager you will oversee and manage our organisations operations for various IT services (platforms and applications) and ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services to our internal stakeholders.

You will lead a team of IT professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and ensure the effective functioning of our IT services.

How you will make an ipact:

  • Service manaagement: Develop and implement IT service management strategies policies and and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and performance leadership during critical incidents and problem resolution.

  • Stakeholders management:Manage a team of internal and external IT professionals ensuring performance and growth. Manage relationships with vendors and external service providers.

  • Solution management: Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT service requirements with business goals. Plan deploy and support IT systems infrastructure and applications.

  • Continuous improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives for optimised IT service delivery. Stay updated with industry trends and recommend innovative solutions.

Your background:

  • Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or related field (Masters preferred).

  • Proven experience as an IT Service Manager in a large organisation.

  • Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL Devops)).

  • Excellent leadership problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.(Agile Waterfall)

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Customer service approach and able to communicate with others in a constructive manner
