About the Role:

As an Intern in Quality Engineering for Wiley you will contribute to actual projects in maintaining the quality engineering practices/processes create test cases execute functional and regression test scenarios and work closely with Wileys product development teams to identify recreate and retest issues. Strong analytical and programming skills will be essential as you will be involved in functional and non-functional test automation activities.

How you will make an impact:

• Assist in creating and maintaining libraries of test plans and test scenarios.
• Provide support to create and maintain automation regression test scripts and performance test scripts.
• Assist in manual and automated test execution to ensure developed functionality satisfies requirements and aligns with specifications.
• Help to track and record the results of test execution.
• Work closely with the development team to help with recreating and retesting issues found in testing.

What we look for:

• 3rd or final year university student or a graduate in Computer Science Information Technology Software Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of OOP (Object Oriented Programming) concepts.
• Knowledge in quality assurance/engineering concepts.
• Experience in manual testing of web/mobile-based technologies is a plus.
• Hands-on programming knowledge in Java.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Team player who can easily adapt in a rapidly changing environment.

It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to geographic location skills and competencies.
