Boeing Distribution Inc (BDI) has an opening for Associate Battery Technician whowill execute the battery production plan and will be responsibilities to follow all safety and quality policies and ensure productivity goals are met. This will require that they be available and willing to work in all areas of the shop including but not limited to receiving inspecting dis-charging disassembling cleaning repairing re-assembling charging capacity testing boxing and shipping as is located in Parsippany NJ.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs simple production assembly operations repairing testing inspection tagging and shipping of various aircraft batteries using discharging charging and support equipment and hand tools.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1 year of part 145 or military or auto or electrical and mechanic experience
• Must have strong communication skills
• Able to read and comprehend technical manuals.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• A&P Certification
• Bachelors degree or equivalent

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
