Position Responsibilities:
Builds effective resource plans
Performs composite lay-up fabrication tasks
Uses extensive knowledge to perform load set-up cleaning and operation of machines
Identifies and communicates risks to First Line Leader
Updates and communicates BPS metrics
Identifies KPI LMS kaizen improvement actions and follows up with actions and tasks associated at weekly Kamishibai and Gemba walks
Assigns daily work; leads team in daily safety check-in
Monitors and reports daily progress to plan
Works with support organizations and First Line Leader to mitigate performance risk
Documents and communicates shift turnover
Establishes overtime requirements and staffing
Responsible for monitoring and control of 5S; utilizes Rapid Problem Solving (RPS) and coordinates with Line Side Control Center (LSCC) to address issues
Creates standardized work instructions
Lead coach mentor and support teammates to improve their job performance to include identifying training
Responsible for BPS process improvements
Exhibits Boeing Seek Speak and Listen behaviors
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Orangeburg South Carolina.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Willingness and ability to work a variable shift (1st 2nd or 3rd) including weekends holidays or overtime based on business needs
1 years of aerospace fabrication or manufacturing experience
1 years of fabrication operations experience
1 years of experience working in cross-functional teams
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.; frequent lifting up to 10 lbs.
Must maintain certifications to perform the job
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Previous Team Lead experience
1 years of machine shop experience (machine shop processes geometric dimensioning tolerances and machining capabilities of different types of materials)
1 years of experience leading production system and process improvements (i.e. Lean BPS job practices techniques and standards)
Ability to inspire and energize others
Problem solving skills
