We are seeking individual contributor to support Operational Resilience program team residing in Toronto office for the following responsibilities.

Position Responsibilities:
- Under general direction this role will be responsible for performing various level of data analysis data clean-up data collection to support production of pre-established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) or Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) participate in process improvement opportunities etc.
- Support program management teams in head office on data ingestion clean-up mapping etc. (e.g. data analysis data clean-up validation creating and maintenance of reports and dashboards)
- Build and maintain dashboard reporting of pre-established KPIs and KRIs across different workstreams
- Work as directed by program management teams to research and document business issues involving workflow procedures and processes.
- Analyze data and work with management to develop creative solutions.
- Coordinate recommended process changes and enhancements
- Assist in the generation of monthly quarterly or ad-hoc reports and ensuring accuracy in metrics being reported
- Support data governance initiatives by ensuring compliance with data quality standards privacy regulations and internal policies
- Develop and maintain documentation for data sources data definitions and reporting methodologies to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings to present findings gather feedback and align analytics efforts with business goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable in financial services insurance with 5-7 years of business experience including progressive business analysis experience
- Proficient in Power BI and Power Platform for creating interactive dashboards automating workflows and developing custom applications
- Skilled in dashboard design with a focus on UI/UX
- Experience in big data analysis including the use of Azure and Databricks to process and interpret large datasets
- Knowledgeable in database schemas data modeling and EDL processes.
- Strong organization communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong reporting skills with attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines with accuracy
- Highly organized individual with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Excellent collaborative and relationship building skills; showing tact and diplomacy in dealing with others
- Ability to learn quickly and be comfortable with adjusting to ad-hoc changes in workflow
- High-level written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly and accurately translate business requirements into non-technical and lay terms and in communicating insights to team members and management
- Understanding of data governance and control concept (e.g. data retention access management)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Skilled in translating complex issues into actionable business solutions through data visualization analytical insights process optimization and compelling presentations
- Strong technical skills on analytics and data transformation tools. Intermediate to advanced Power BI Power Query Excel SQL and Power Automate/VBA. Basic knowledge and working experience in using Jira Power Apps and Python.
- Governance concepts: thorough understanding of data governance and control concepts (e.g. risk mitigation concepts access right control)
- Communication: high-level written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly and accurately translate business requirements into non-technical and lay terms and in communicating insights to team members and management
