Were currently seeking a Credit Collector to manage our North American customer portfolio (US time zones) from our Budapest office. This role is part of our dynamic Credit and Collections Team for North America and offers a fantastic opportunity to deepen your expertise in accounts receivable develop professionally and make a real difference in our business.
What Youll Do:
Engage with clients daily to ensure timely payments
Track and resolve outstanding payment issues
Take ownership of queries preventing payments and escalate when needed
Assist with unapplied cash and billing clarifications
Handle customer invoice inquiries with professionalism
Identify delinquent accounts for write-off or collection agency referral
Prepare and contribute to AR reports
Conduct credit checks and release blocked orders
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across all business levels
Support projects to improve our order-to-cash processes
Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Who You Are:
35 years experience as an AR Clerk Credit Controller or similar finance role
Experience in a Financial Shared Service Centre is a plus
Solid accounting knowledge and strong Excel skills
Fluent in English; additional European languages are a bonus
Confident in using MS Office and SAP
Proactive hands-on and solution-oriented
Strong communicator with excellent organization and prioritization skills
Secondary school certificate required; BSc in Finance Accounting or Business Administration is a plus
