The Position

The Record to Report Department often abbreviated as R2R department provides financial services for more than 130 affiliates in the EMEA region. Our main areas covered are: General Ledger Accounting Management Accounting Fixed and Leased Asset Accounting Treasury and Accounts Receivable. The department is constantly expanding since our main goal is to perform end-to-end accounting activities in the near future.

The Opportunity:

As a Credit & Collection Analyst for the UK you are an important link between the business and the customers across Roche Diagnostics divisions. You manage the customer queries help the customers for dispute cases and reduce the volume of overdue invoices while continuously improving the performance of the RSS and conduct an effective credit management strategy to reduce Roche exposure risk to doubtful accounts.

  • Managing and applying the Collection Strategy for the Customers Portfolio of the Roche Affiliate

  • Contacting and doing follow-ups with customers on overdue invoices manage Customer Complaint (dispute management) and dunning process

  • Preparing and analyzing Customer Ageing/Open item Report (as defined in the Local Credit Management Policy and in alignment with FGAR)

  • Evaluating Customer Credit based on financial strength and ability to pay on time classify risk categories

  • Managing blocked Sales Orders as defined by the Local Credit Management Policy

  • Collaborating with other teams/ team members stakeholder daily based conversation with the supported Affiliate

Who you are:

  • 1-3 years of related experience in Collection and/or Credit Management is desirable and experience in Shared Service Center environment is preferred

  • University or College Education concentration on Finance or Accounting is a plus

  • SAP knowledge Intermediate Excel skills and understanding of the Order to Cash process & analytical skills is an advantage

  • Self-driven Team-player attitude with independent decision making skills is required

  • Proficiency in English
