Job Description
About the Role
- Assist in the investigation of suspected fraudcases across various council services
- Gather and analyse evidence conduct interviews and support enforcement actions
- Work closely with internal departments and external agencies to share intelligence
- Maintain accurate records and contribute toreports and case files
- Learn and apply relevant legislation policies and investigative techniques
- Complete apprenticeship training and assessments with full support from the team
- A keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Integrity discretion and a commitment topublic service
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally
- Completed at least A levels (or equivalent) and hold GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above
- Eligibility to work in the UK and undertake an apprenticeship programme
- Relevant experience/education in a related sector is desirable
- A structured apprenticeship programme with on-the-job training
- Support from experienced fraud investigators and mentors
- Opportunities to progress into permanent roles within the team subject to vacancies being available
