Specific responsibilities:
Lead and support production staff across Phils and Eds ensuring quality portion control food safety and excellent customer service.
Manage daily operations of Phils including supervising shift supervisors and assistant managers mentoring and training staff hiring scheduling and solving operational challenges.
Assist with menu preparation food production C-store ordering stocking inventory management and maintaining orderly storage areas using FIFO (First In First Out) standards.
Partner with the Associate Director of Retail Operations on business functions such as point-of-sale updates menu boards mobile ordering sales logs budgeting and compliance with HACCP and safety protocols.
Oversee recipe development menu planning and use of the CBORD system to support safe accessible options for all guests including those with special dietary needs.
Contribute to meeting revenue and budget goals with Phils generating over $1M in annual sales and a $500K food budget.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree in culinary arts or related field preferred)
34 years of high-volume food service production experience
23 years of supervisory experience in food service
Completion of a Food Service Sanitation course (or willingness to complete upon hire)
Proficiency in short-order cooking and basic math skills
Strong leadership judgment and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and customer service skills including conflict resolution
Ability to multitask prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced noisy environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Google Apps and the ability to learn new systems (e.g. POS)
