Job Summary
Job Description PRN Physical Therapist
Job Qualifications
- Hold a current and valid license in the state of Alabama or completed an accredited university program with a pending final examination and licensing.
- Comply with the APTA Code of Ethics.
- Follow guidelines associated with patient confidentiality (HIPPA).
- Able to communicate effectively with patients families co-workers and other health care professionals.
- Perform the physical tasks required of a manual physical therapist.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Be proficient in performing the clinical duties of a licensed physical therapist as outlined by the Alabama State Practice Act and the APTA to include but not limited to initial evaluations patient treatments re-evaluations discharges and clinical supervision of PTAs and Aides.
Business / Charting Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely documentation that complies with state laws company quality assurance standards and insurance regulations.
Responsibilities of NTS Team Membership
- Knowledge of and adherence to the vision and strategic plan of NTS as well as the policies and procedures as outlined by the Employee Handbook.
- Possess traits of a lifelong learner including active participation in the NTS mentoring program co-treatments as the schedule allows and willingness to attend on-site and off-site continuing education courses offered outside of normal business hours.
