Job Summary
Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse Neuro ICU
Location: New York NY 10016
Schedule: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (312) 34.5 hours/week
Compensation: Local: $2250/week Travel: $2600/week
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced TravelNeuro ICU Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity critical care team. The unit is expanding and this role will be responsible for delivering specialized care to adult neuro patients. The ideal candidate will be proficient in IV insertion phlebotomy and conscious sedation with strong critical care experience.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality evidence-based nursing care to adult neuro ICU patients.
Perform IV insertions phlebotomy and assist with conscious sedation.
Monitor assess and document patient conditions in compliance with hospital standards.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient safety and achieve optimal outcomes.
Respond promptly to changes in patient status initiating appropriate interventions.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-care expectations.
Requirements
Active New York State RN license (Primary Source Verified).
AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
Minimum 2 years of recent critical care experience.
Strong skills in IV insertion phlebotomy and conscious sedation.
Excellent communication critical thinking and teamwork skills.
