Reporting to the Manager Information Technology and working closely with other stakeholders the IT Systems Developer will undertake projects and ongoing tasks that will maintain and enhance The Mustard Seeds IT applications. The systems developed and maintained will help to engage internal and external audiences in a way that enhances the overall impact of The Mustard Seeds work.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the design development testing and deployment of software applications and systems;
- Write clean efficient and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards;
- Participate in the analysis of user requirements and translate them into technical specifications;
- Collaborate with senior developers and team members to troubleshoot and resolve software
defects and issues; - Support the integration of software components and third-party services;
- Document development processes code changes and technical specifications;
- Stay updated on industry trends tools and technologies to enhance skills and contribute to the teams growth;
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions on best practices and new technologies;
Cloud Development
- Provide expert information regarding application migration and integration on cloud-based platforms (i.e. Salesforce Office 365 and SharePoint 365);
- Develop custom web forms and integrate them using API functions with various applications including Salesforce and payment processors;
User Interaction
- Lead and facilitate working sessions with stakeholders to address issues and plan IT projects;
- Document and optimize TMS processes to improve sustainability efficiency and reliability;
- Create documentation and training materials for IT applications;
Power BI Development
- Knowledge in creating and implementing Power BI reports;
Other Duties
- Receive and log calls into the service desk ticketing system resolve the issue and validate with the users that the incident has been resolved;
- Set up equipment for employee use performing or ensuring proper installation of cable operating systems and appropriate software;
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Diploma/Degree in related field is required;
- Experience using APEX or VisualForce would be an asset;
- Knowledgeable in Python HTML CSS PHP Javascript SQL and the Power platform;
- Experience working with relational database systems;
- General comfort with a broad range of IT systems and concepts;
- Strong ability to elicit understand and document user requirements;
- Experience managing and developing solutions within the SharePoint platform;
- Knowledge and experience migrating applications from on-premise to cloud-based environments;
- Familiarity with creating and modifying custom payment-enabled forms solutions;
- Ability to create both non-technical and technical documentation and lead user training sessions;
- Demonstrated ability to use fundamental business analysis and project management skills including requirement gathering documentation solution planning and effective stakeholder communication;
- Salesforce Admin or Developer certification or an interest in earning certification;
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Moderate to extreme mental effort required to successfully accomplish the essential job functions such as providing information resolving issues responding to highly priority situations and etc.
- Moderate physical effort is required to successfully accomplish the essential job functions such as keyboarding to word process documents data entry.
- The ability to lift up to 50lbs on occasion.
