Job Overview
Come be part of a centralized strategic PMO that is reshaping how HR delivers impact across the enterprise! Youll have the flexibility to lead projects across multiple COEs build cross-functional expertise and contribute to a culture of clarity structure and execution excellence. The Sr. Project Manager plays a key role in the newly established HR Strategic PMO leading high-impact initiatives across multiple HR Centers of Excellence (COEs). This role drives structure clarity and execution across projects that advance workforce planning myHR system evolution job architecture leadership and skills enablement and employee experience delivery. You will partner closely with HR leaders cross-functional and enterprise partners to ensure projects are scoped effectively implemented and delivered on time on budget and aligned with enterprise priorities.

** This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in the office) and is based in Overland Park KS **

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex HR initiatives from intake scoping and planning through execution monitoring and closure.
  • Develop project charters work plans and success metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives and COE priorities.
  • Facilitate transparent intake and prioritization processes that balance enterprise needs with capacity.
  • Establish and manage governance processes including change control risk management and scope validation.
  • Provide timely and clear project updates to executive and senior leadership ensuring awareness of progress risks and decision points.
  • Drive alignment across HR COEs Business Operations Finance IT and external partners to deliver coordinated results.
  • Integrate change management strategies to support adoption and long-term impact of HR initiatives.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned ensure operational handoffs and strengthen PMO delivery practices.
  • Contribute to building PMO standards tools and protocols that scale across HR and the enterprise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration HR Project Management or related field (required).
  • 57 years of formal project management experience; HR transformation workforce planning talent or employee experience projects preferred.
  • Proven success managing cross-functional enterprise-level projects with executive partners.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Skilled in risk identification governance and scope/change control.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies with flexibility to tailor approaches.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Project SharePoint and emerging PM tools (Airtable Procore).
  • Data-driven problem solving with the ability to translate strategy into execution.
  • Strong adaptability collaboration and partner approach mentality.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent (preferred).
  • Change management certification (e.g. Prosci) a plus.

Base Pay Range: $83100 - $149900

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as work location qualifications and experience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile employees in regular non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employees eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
