Hours: This is a 34-hour per week role with a fixed working pattern including Saturday and Sunday on a rota basis (one in three weekends). Typical morning shift hours are 07:30 12:30 morning late shift 7:30-15:00 on weekdays and 07:30 12:30 on weekends. Flexibility may be required to provide cover on an ad hoc basis.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the hospice including patient rooms clinical spaces and public areas.
• Carrying out deep cleans following patient discharge and ensuring ongoing hygiene compliance.
• Restocking essential supplies such as hand towels soap and toilet rolls.
• Assisting colleagues with tasks including bed-making curtain washing and floor care.
• Following all safety and infection control guidelines to contribute to a safe welcoming environment.
• Interacting respectfully with patients visitors and colleagues providing support where needed.

About Ashgate:

Ashgate Hospice based in North Derbyshire offers free palliative and end of life care for adults with life-limiting or incurable illnesses including cancer neurological diseases and advanced heart kidney and lung conditions.
