Job Summary

Introduction: M365Group SIA a fast-growing IT recruitment firm based in Latvia is seeking a remote International Tax Lawyer with expertise in Romanian tax law. We need strategic advice to optimize our tax position while complying with local and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel on the structuring of business operations to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with Romanian tax regulations and double taxation treaties.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts and agreements with tax implications.
  • Represent the company in discussions with Romanian tax authorities.
  • Advise on the legal implications of cross-border transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Law degree with a specialization in tax law.
  • At least 5 years of experience in international tax law with a focus on Romania.
  • Extensive knowledge of Romanian tax laws and treaties.
  • Strong negotiation skills and fluency in English and Romanian.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
