Were looking for a hands-on Health & Safety Advisor to join our team on a part-time basis (around 15 to 20 hours per week). This is a practical role where youll be working directly with managers employees and contractors to make sure our workplaces are safe compliant and well-supported.

What youll be doing:

Leading the charge for all things Health & Safety across the business

Developing and implementing health & safety procedures and policies.

Identifying hazards assessing risks and ensuring compliance with legislation.

Leading incident investigations and health & safety committee meetings.

Preparing quarterly health & safety reports and presenting to the Senior Leadership Team.

Keeping contractor management records up to date and liaising directly with contractors and managers.

Supporting return-to-work plans for injured employees.

Running site inspections inductions and safety training.

What were looking for:

At least 3 years in a Health & Safety Advisory role.

Strong practical knowledge of NZ Health Safety & Wellbeing legislation.

Skilled in risk management auditing and incident investigations.

Great relationship-building skills and confident working across all levels of the business.

Organised proactive and comfortable working independently.

A current clean drivers licence is essential.
