Our client a reputable and thriving hospitality group is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Housekeeping team. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences we operate multiple hotels across Malta each offering a unique and welcoming environment.
Position Overview:
As a Housekeeping Attendant you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall hygiene standards of our hotels. Your attention to detail positive attitude and commitment to creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for our guests are essential for the success of our hospitality operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including but not limited to making beds dusting vacuuming and mopping floors.
- Ensure that guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Restock and replenish amenities linens and supplies in guest rooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve efficient and effective housekeeping operations.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries with a courteous and helpful demeanor.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and secure environment for both guests and staff.
- Participate in training programs to continuously enhance skills and stay updated on company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience of a minimum of 2 years in a 5-star hotel or high-end restaurant environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to work different shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to perform the required tasks including lifting and carrying cleaning supplies and equipment.
