Job Summary
Introduction: M365Group SIA an innovative IT recruitment firm headquartered in Latvia seeks an experienced remote International Tax Lawyer to provide strategic advice and support. We are exploring options to optimize our tax liabilities while remaining compliant with Latvian and international tax laws. We require a legal expert with a solid understanding of cross-border taxation double taxation agreements and the legal intricacies of international business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on tax implications of international transactions and the most efficient tax structures.
- Provide strategic tax planning and assist with implementing tax-efficient strategies.
- Ensure compliance with Latvian and international tax regulations including double taxation treaties.
- Assist in preparing legal documents and contracts related to tax planning and corporate restructuring.
- Represent the company in dealings with Latvian and international tax authorities.
Qualifications:
- Law degree with specialization in tax law preferably with a focus on international taxation.
- At least 5 years of experience in tax law with a proven track record of advising on cross-border tax issues.
- In-depth knowledge of Latvian and international tax laws including double taxation treaties.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Latvian.
