Job Summary
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Legal team of Ignitis Latvija. As a key member of our organization you will provide expert legal counsel ensure regulatory compliance and support various business initiatives. If that speaks to you wed be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Offering comprehensive legal advice to management and various departments on complex legal matters
- Drafting reviewing and negotiating a wide range of contracts and legal documents
- Managing corporate governance and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations
- Representing the company in legal proceedings negotiations and interactions with regulatory bodies
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement legal strategies that support business objectives
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with external legal counsel and key stakeholders
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Law
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior legal role preferably in a field relevant to the energy sector
- In-depth knowledge of Latvian legal system regulations and corporate law (knowledge in the areas of personal data protection and consumer protection is desirable)
- Proven track record in contract drafting negotiation and corporate governance
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal issues and provide pragmatic solutions attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Latvian and English as this role involves regular communication with international colleagues and partners
