Job Summary

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to join our client a leading gaming and resorts provider. As a backend engineer you will play a crucial role in designing developing and maintaining the backend systems and services that power the clients gaming and resorts platforms. Youll help build a scalable and efficient platform contributing a to high-performing and reliable system for their customers. Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend engineers designers and product managers to define and implement backend systems.
Design develop and maintain scalable and secure backend systems APIs and services using appropriate technologies and programming languages especially Spring Boot.
Implement data models database schemas and storage solutions to efficiently manage gaming and user data.
Optimize backend performance to ensure fast and responsive user experiences and identify and resolve bottlenecks and performance issues.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality maintainability and adherence to best practices.
Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain backend systems and services in a cloud environment.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5 years experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role with a focus on developing backend systems and services for mobile based applications
Strong proficiency in backend technologies and programming languages including Java Spring Boot Java etc.
Experience with backend frameworks and libraries (e.g. Django Spring) and microservices
Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
Fluency in English
