ALSTOM Hong Kong Limited has been a major supplier of trains signaling systems infrastructure and services (maintenance renovation and parts supply) to MTR Corporation over the last 40 years. Since the first metro project in Hong Kong in 1975 ALSTOM Hong Kong Limited has supplied over 1100 metro cars for its metro network and equipped seven lines with signaling systems currently in operation contributing positively to the urban transport system development in Hong Kong.

We are looking forTest & Commissioning Engineerbased in Hong Kong to join our dynamic team. We deliver multiple signaling projects to our customer MTR with dedication to sustainable and smart mobility in the field of design engineering installation and test & commissioning. You will be responsible for:

• Prepare and executetesting activities:
  • in support to one or several Projects on railway signalling systems under the direction of his / her hierarchy
  • according to the testing procedure / documentation and following Sub-system T&C Leader instructions
• Ensure defects identification and correction (trouble shooting)
• In the event of a non-conformity observed during the commissioning phase make a return experience (REX) towards the project and ensure that all design related issues are correctly reported in the adequate tools including the defect description and associated test context
• Ensure follow-up of detected issues and deliver the commissioning reports
• Check the test tools are in perfect working order and calibrated
• Support V&V (Verification & Validation) team and perform test in lab as per request
• Deliver the committed performance in terms of Quality Costs and Deadlines and in compliance with Alstom policies local standards and regulations (in particular EHS and Railway Safety)
• Take the role to be CP(T) of the self-working team conduct safety briefing and reminder during the work at night if required.

You are expected to have these credentials:

• Honour degree in engineering (preferablyelectrical electronicsor embedded systems)
• 4 years of experience in construction engineering transport industry for infra and commissioning work
• Experience in Cyber Security and/or Networking is preferred
• Available to work at night during weekends and on public holidays if required (Nightshift allowance is provided)
• Willing to learn with team spirit multi-tasking and open-minded
• Able to take an analytical approach for problem solving under time pressure
• Able to communicate in an open and clear manner with various stakeholders
• Good level of communication skills in written and spoken Chinese and English
• Driving license
• Registered Electrical Worker is preferred
• First Aider is preferred
