Overview of the Role
The National Account Manager will work on the day-to-day account activities and requirements of the McDonalds Business Unit in an efficient and effective manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and service level excellence in alignment with the strategic plan and expectations of the Customer. Responsibilities include supporting the development and achievement of the annual budget collaboration of daily logistics driving innovation and collaborating on customer initiatives. Special project management and maintaining the overall relationship between the various teams within Saputo Martin Brower and McDonalds systems are also of highest priority. The successful candidate will be a self-starter show leadership and initiative professionalism integrity and attention to details which are all core Saputo Company values. He or she will have an entrepreneurial flair thrive on challenge can prioritize the right job so it gets done on time and can work effectively in a team-oriented high-priority environment.
How you will make contributions that matter
Develop and support the achievement of the short medium and long-term strategic business initiatives in alignment with the customers growth strategy
Maintain existing and secure new business through innovative initiatives while maximizing profitability
Development and achievement of the annual budget by:
Reviewing weekly volume profit sales trends and costs relative to budget
Creating and analyzing sales reports to understand performance and identify opportunities
Developing implementing and measuring corrective action plans where necessary
Managing the forecast promotional plans IBP demand & supply planning processes
Manage and support the day-to-day Distribution/Supply network relationships (internal and external)
Manage all aspects of the selling functions including but not limited to pricing profit product presentations tracking competitive activities forecasting product supply/demand logistics quality assurance
Develop & build strong collaborative relationships at all levels within the Customer business units
Support the monthly quarterly and annual reporting through the provision of insights & competitive activities
Communicate internally and coordinate activities across the various functions within Saputo
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications
A degree/diploma in Business administration or equivalent education and training
5 years account management or product development experience preferably in a packaged goods environment
Foodservice channel knowledge and/or prior Sales experience would be considered an asset
Proven history of excellence in achieving performance targets
Ability to demonstrate influential leadership
Dependable team oriented with a history of being able to work independently
Effective communication and interpersonal and analytical skills
Problem solving and decision-making skills
Detail oriented highly organized and accountable
Able to work within tight deadlines in a multi-task high priority environment
Proficient with Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint
